We gave Meghan her first rice cereal this week. At first she wasn't too sure about it, she kept trying to suck the spoon. A few scoops in she decided it might be okay, but I think she was getting frustrated because she was hungry and wasn't getting enough of it fast enough.

A Weekend Without Daddy
Kevin was out of town this weekend. I don't have anything really interesting to post but here are a few pictures from our weekend.
I swore I would never become that person who had all the giant toys and let them consume my living room. Never say never. This is how our room looks on a daily basis. Among the items are a swing, bouncer, excersaucer, playmat, bumbo, and blanket to play on.
Here is Miss Meghan in her new Bumbo (Thank You Kelly). Don't worry, I was standing in front of her the whole time. She did enjoy playing with that pasta.
"Hey Mom, look what I can do."
Hopefully this was a one time thing. Otherwise I am going to have to find a new way to entertain her while I shower. And she really doesn't have the old man hairloss. It is just very light in those areas.

5 Months Old!
I can't believe it. Meghan is 5 months old already. Time has gone by so quickly. I love seeing her develop and meet new challenges every day, but at the same time I miss the cuddly little newborn. I just don't miss those sleepless newborn nights.
