What a Difference 4 Months Makes

My mom bought Meghan a Yankees T-Shirt when she was in New York. I can't believe how much she has grown and how quickly time has gone.
Meghan was 12 days old in this picture.

She was 4 months and a week in this picture.

Spring Snow

Well, it's spring. But that doesn't mean it's warm yet. Only a week or so ago it was 80 degrees. Now we have snow. We were supposed to get around 6 inches but only got about 2 or 3. This was Meghan's first snow (there was actually a storm in January that had some snow but it was mostly ice).

The wind started blowing the snow into us. She seemed really confused when it started falling on her face.

Meghan's Baptism

Meghan was baptised on Sunday morning. She did so well through service. She is, as the doctor says, a "happy spitter". In other words, she spits up all the time. I was so afraid she would spit up while being baptised, but she didn't. She was great until after the service when she was hungry and we were trying to take pictures.

The Family

With the pastor. She'd had enough by this point.

Spring Break Part II

Here are a few pictures from the week. There were lots of people to visit with.

"Wake up Daddy, I want to play."

Pinching Grandpa's Chin

Meghan and Uncle Scott (notice his 70's porn star mustache)

It's Been A While

It has been a while since I have posted. For spring break we went to Columbia to see Kevin's parents and have Meghan baptised. I was a little worried about how she would do in the car for 7 hours. On the way there she did great. I thought she would sleep for most the way. However, she was up nearly the entire time. She was talking and smiling. The way back was a whole other story.

Chewing on her new duck toy.

She was so interested in what was going on around her. She just kept looking around and smiling.

Dinner Time

Meghan sits with us at the table while we eat dinner. She has just started to grab at things and hold them. It is really neat to see her development. She is becoming more active every day. Her coordination is improving too. She can finally get objects to her mouth to suck on them. So, here are some pictures from dinner the other night.

"I'm ready to eat. When do I get to eat?"

"Well, I guess I'll play with this Hippo."

"If you aren't going to give me food, I guess I'll have to eat the hippo's ear."

Big 12 Champions!

We were trying to get Meghan to smile at the camera but she was too interested in the Big 12 Champion Missouri Tigers! The Big 12 Championship was here in Oklahoma City. Meghan's first ever sporting event was a Missouri Tiger basketball game. We went over Christmas break when we were in Columbia.

As you can see she slept through the entire game.
Someday she'll get to see an Oregon game. For now, she'll be a Mizzou fan because they are good.

Video of Meghan in her ExerSaucer

Can you hear Kevin in the background. He does the laundry in our house. Aren't I lucky?

Meghan's New Toy

We bought Meghan an ExerSaucer today. She likes to stand up but Kevin got sick of holding her up so we thought this would be a perfect fit. It allows her to stand up and explore the barnyard animals that surround her. On a side note, Kevin plans to write a letter to the people at Evenflo to let them know that the directions although in English were harder to understand than the Spanish directions.

What is this thing you put me in?

I don't like it, let me out!

Well, maybe it is ok.

Four Months Old!!

Wow, I can't believe Meghan is already four months old. She is growing so fast and changing by the day. Kevin was out of town last week for three days. When he came back he said she already seemed completely different. Here are a couple of pictures I took while we were playing this morning:

Look at those baby blues.

I got the picture just before she rolled over.

Super Cute

This is the onsie she laughed at!

She Laughed!

I picked Meghan up from daycare today and went to Kohls to do some shopping. Meghan was very alert so I was showing her clothes and she would smile and grab at the clothes. I showed her a onsie and she started belly laughing. It was the cutest thing ever. It made my day! I was just sad that Kevin wasn't there to hear it. I have been trying all night to get her to do it again without any luck. Hmm, maybe we need to go shopping again. =) I did buy the onsie she laughed at, how could I not? As soon as I get video of her laughing I will post it.

Let's...get...physical

Doesn't she look like Olivia Newton John? Excuse the red eye, my camera sucks.

Yes, those are legwarmers. They are actually a new baby fad. People put them on babies with a onesie for easy diaper changes. You most often see them with cloth diapers. I put them on Meghan this morning and Kevin's first comment was "what is this, the 80's" followed by "are we out of clothes". No to both, they are just so soft, and it makes it easy for her to move around. But, I probably wouldn't take her out in public in them.

She's Getting So Big

Not the greatest picture, but it was her first time in her high chair. I was cooking dinner the other night and thought I would try putting Meghan in the high chair for the first time. She cried at first but then was fairly content. I can't believe how big she has gotten. I love seeing all her new stages and developments but I miss her as a newborn. She's growing too fast!
