Happy Halloween!

Meghan helped me bake cookies yesterday. The picture is a little dark. Kevin had his finger in front of the flash.

Meghan camped out in our bed this morning.

She wanted to help carve the pumpkin but all she kept saying was "yucky".

Of course she also had to get into our candy bucket.

After trick or treating, with a lollipop in her mouth.

Fun With Friends

Friday we went to Scare on the Square in downtown McKinney with some friends. All the businesses on the downtown square were giving out candy. It was a total madhouse and, as you can tell from this picture, the girls were more interested in animal crackers.

Later we were going to go out to dinner. Meghan wanted to wear her tutu. It matched her Halloween kitty sweatshirt. After she was dressed Meghan wanted me to take a picture of her. The way she poses cracks me up. This picture exemplifies her; goofy, sassy, and cute as can be.

The restaurant we went to was western themed. It is a big barn and they have a live band and a great dance floor. The girls loved it.

Even the daddies danced with the girls!

Meghan's favorite thing was when the band took a break because the slide opened. This slide is tall, steep, and fast. It was really fun. Meghan giggled every time we went down it.

I Know, I Know

I have become terrible at updating this blog. I used to have such a great routine of doing the blog after Meghan went to sleep. Unfortunately, since she has decided 9:00 is a good bedtime I haven't been keeping up. I am making it my goal to get better at this.

So, for now, here is a picture from a couple weeks ago when we were in Oregon for a wedding. It is my brother, Alex, and Meghan.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin farm this last weekend. Meghan enjoyed petting the animals and watching daddy feed them.

Meghan picked the perfect pumpkin...

and then decided to return it to the vine.

She took a ride on a John Deer...Ok, not really, but she loved playing on it.

Flowers, Pumpkins, and Airplanes

Meghan and I were at the store Thursday and decided to buy a pumpkin. Meghan really wanted to pick it up but it was just too heavy.

She was also trying to sniff the flowers.

Tonight's entertainment included soaring through the air like an airplane on Daddy's feet.

Meghan had to take a few breaks to put on chapstick, her new obsession.
