Two For One

This one is for yesterday: Meghan and I had an appointment at two. I asked her to get her shoes and she puts her hands up as if to say "I don't know". The only other shoes she has that fit are a pair of sandals that we wear to the pool; they currently have a spaghetti stain on them. These shoes actually matched her outfit. After 15 minutes of searching for them I gave up. How could I loose a pair of shoes in a tiny apartment? Well, today I went to get a pair of my shoes and guess what I found? Meghan's shoes inside mine. It seems someone was a little sneaky and hid her shoes.

Airplane! Meghan loves to fly on my feet in the air. Today apparently Baby wanted to do the same thing. It was really cute because Meghan was saying "Weee" the whole time. It is really interesting to see her act out things with her Baby. She has really gotten into dramatic play lately.

Playing with Millie. It really is amazing that she has never been scratched or bitten by the cat.

20 Months

This post is for Meghan's 20 month Birthday. I got to have a Mom's Night Out with my playgroup last night so I got home too late to post it. Kevin brought Meghan home a cookie. Can you guess what color sprinkles were on it?

The best invention...

...the little car that goes on the front of a shopping cart. Grocery shopping has become a challenge for us. Meghan does not want to sit in the seat of the cart or the open part. She wants to push the cart and doesn't want you to help her. Kroger has these cute little mini shopping carts but Meghan isn't quite big enough. In comes the shopping cart with the car. I don't know why I never thought about using one of these before. Today when we went to the store there was one of these carts at the front of the store. Meghan went running to it and climbed right in. Ahh, shopping bliss. Do you know how nice it is to actually be able to shop without wrestling a toddler the whole time?

Meghan's First Pedicure

Please excuse my pajamas and bed head. I was doing my nails this morning when Meghan decided she wanted hers done to. I really didn't think she would hold still long enough but she did. I laid her down on a pillow and she put her feet on my lap and let me paint her toes.

The final product. I think they look pretty cute, so does Meghan.

My 250th Post!

Meghan has taken to copying our actions, as well as our words. She lays on the carpet and rests her head on her hands. It is the cutest thing!

Even she knows she's cute. Try to ignore the pizza on her face.

I wasn't able to do a post for yesterday because Kevin and I finally got a night away. Meghan enjoyed playing with Grandma and Grandpa. Her big achievement was going down the big slide at the park today.

Meghan still likes to climb into things. She dumps everything out of her toy bins and then climbs in. Getting out wasn't quite as easy, she got stuck.
